Colton Underwood took a break from handing out roses Sunday and instead visited kids at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

The current star of ABC’s The Bachelor and a former NFL player with the then San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders, Underwood spent time with the kids as part of his non-profit organization The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation. The organization, founded in 2015, works to provide resources for research and support for people with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects the lungs and can cause difficulty breathing.

Photos on the hospital’s Facebook page show Underwood holding stuffed animals with a little girl, visiting a girl in her hospital room surrounded by “Get Well Soon” balloons and holding up a peace sign with a boy in front of a Pittsburgh Pirates themed Statue of Liberty.

UPMC wrote on their page, “Thank you to Colton Underwood and Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation for stopping by for a visit at UPMC Children’s this morning!”
