Body found in Monongahela River in Braddock

A man has been found dead in the Monongahela River in Braddock, according to Allegheny County officials.

A tugboat operator spotted the body near the Rankin Bridge at about 8:45 a.m. Sunday, officials said.

First-responders recovered the body from the river.

Further details were not immediately available.
