Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster said he just wanted the kids to have fun.

So, he organized a huge water balloon fight at Donalds Park in Oakdale on Saturday.

“I’m a kid. I’m only 22 years old. For me, I had the money to do it. I’m not doing it because it’s for my foundation or something. It’s just because I wanted to do it. It’s out of my free spirit. Everything out here is free. Have a fun time, enjoy yourself. They’re having an amazing time, it’s lit,” Smith-Schuster told WPXI.

Smith-Schuster also handed out money to some of the young kids that attended the event, according to the TV station.

He promoted it as his first “annual” Pittsburgh water balloon fight, so maybe there are plans to do it again.

And of course, it was “lit.”

The wide receiver also posted a sponsored video this weekend on his YouTube channel of him walking on Pittsburgh’s South Side giving sandwiches to homeless people and interacting with fans.
