Couple have their own prom at Pirates game

A girl couldn’t bring her boyfriend to prom, so they had their own dance at PNC Park.

Mary is a senior at North Catholic High School and her boyfriend is a college student, reports WPXI.

The night was magical as they sat behind home plate and took in the game from the Hyundai Club.

The school has a policy that prohibited her from bringing him to her prom so they donned their suit and gown and headed to a Pittsburgh pirates game Wednesday night.

Before the night was over we understood that no prom night is complete without one last dance.

PNC Park staff allowed the couple to dance on the field and played Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight” over the speakers.
