Kurt Vile to play Hartwood Acres
Hartwood Acres will host a concert on July 21 by Kurt Vile, with special guest Cate Le Bon. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Most of the summer shows at the park amphitheater are free. The Allegheny County-owned park is at 4070 Middle Road, Indiana Township.
Women’s business group to meet Aug. 6
Female entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses can attend the Women’s Business Network meeting at 8 a.m. Aug. 6 at Panera Bread at The Waterworks, 942 Freeport Road. The group meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Addiction ministry to co-host event
The Addiction Recovery Ministry in Sharpsburg will join with Light of Life Mission to present “Come Together to Fight Addiction.”
An evening with dinner and a Beatles tribute band will begin at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Oakland.
