Four passengers were hurt when a car crashed into a Port Authority bus Thursday morning in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood, officials said.

The 77-Penn Hills bus was inbound at about 8:45 a.m. at Frankstown Road and Eymard Street when a car crashed into the driver’s side of the bus, pushing it into a utility pole, Port Authority spokesman Adam Brandolph said.

Port Authority didn’t release the names of those hurt, but said one person was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, a man was taken to UPMC East, a man was taken to UPMC Presbyterian and a woman was taken to West Penn Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the crash.

Port Authority police are investigating.
