Police and medics are responding to a possible head-on collision Wednesday night in Armstrong County, initial reports indicate.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured.

Authorities received a report of the crash believed to involve at least two vehicles near Guthrie Road and Main Street in Manor Township shortly before 8:15 p.m., an Armstrong County 911 dispatcher said.

Manor Township Volunteer Fire Department is the lead investigator. A spokesman at the fire hall said crews still were responding and assessing any possible injuries as of 8:40 p.m.

Ford Cliff firefighters are assisting.

Officials could not immediately be reached to provide further details.
