There’s an old hymn that says, “Count your blessings, name them one by one.”
Supporters of the St. Anne Home in Greensburg have been doing that for a long time, as evidenced by the 23rd Annual Harvest of Blessings dinner, held Nov. 2 in the Saint Vincent College Fred Rogers Center.
The home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, provides a continuum of care to its senior residents and their families, and the annual event raises funds to support that mission.
Dinner guests were treated to the premieres of two new videos paying tribute to employees characterized as “superheroes” by Director of Development and Marketing Mary Dreliszak.
“We truly believe our employees are superheroes who go above and beyond the call of duty to serve our residents,” she said.
The dinner program was preceded by a social hour with raffles and silent auction and followed by a live auction. Lucky guests went home with designer purses, cash, gift cards, event and lottery tickets, housewares and home decor, golf packages and much, much more.
