The students at Holiday Park Elementary invited family members who have served or are currently serving in the United States military to a special recognition program on Veterans Day. Presented by the Student Government, the program, now in it’s second year, included recognition of all veterans present, performances by the orchestra and chorus and photos taken with each student and their special guest. Kenley Babilon, fifth grade, with her grandfather, Bob Babilon, a Vietnam veteran who served for four years with the ASA (Army Security Agency) from 1964-1968.
