A deaf man has filed a class-action lawsuit against adult website Pornhub, alleging that the company has violated federal law.

According to a TMZ report, Yaroslav Suris claims the company has violated his and others’ rights under the American’s with Disabilities Act by denying the deaf and hearing-impaired access to its videos that others can easily enjoy.

Suris’ lawsuit asserts that the deaf and hearing impaired can’t understand the audio portion of videos on the site. He said he watched, but was completely lost in the dialogue of several videos he attempted to enjoy, TMZ reported.

To add insult to injury, Suris says he pays for Pornhub’s premium subscription and is now questioning the quality of that package with the lack of closed captioning.

The lawsuit aims to force Pornhub to be inclusive by adding closed captioning. He’s also suing for damages.

Pornhub emailed the Tribune-Review Friday in response to the pending suit.

“We understand that Yaroslav Suris is suing Pornhub for claiming we’ve denied the deaf and hearing impaired access to our videos. While we do not generally comment on active lawsuits, we’d like to take this opportunity to point out that we do have a closed captions category that can be found (on our site).”
