The Greensburg ArtsWalk, scheduled for Saturday , has been canceled due to the coronavirus, organizers announced.

The annual event draws thousands of people to downtown Greensburg to enjoy the city’s art scene and restaurants, while being entertained by visual and performing arts groups in a self-guided tour.

The event will not be rescheduled this year; rather, organizers will focus on next year’s event.

“Westmoreland Cultural Trust is committed to the safety of our community and to the promotion of arts and culture in Westmoreland County,” Adam Seifert, manager of corporate and community engagement for Westmoreland Cultural Trust, said in a statement.

He added, “We are saddened to have to cancel ArtsWalk 2020 and look forward to ArtsWalk 2021. We remain committed to providing family-friendly, arts centered events for our community as soon as it is safe to proceed.”

The event is hosted by the Westmoreland Cultural Trust and the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.
