The Beaver County Coroner has identified a body found Saturday in the Ohio River as missing fisherman Kenneth Robinson.

The 23-year-old Robinson, of Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood section, died by accidental drowning, Coroner David J Gabauer confirmed Sunday.

His body was recovered by the Ambridge-Aliquippa Bridge, according to a Beaver County 911 dispatcher.

The dispatcher said a fisherman spotted the body about 7:30 p.m. on the Ambridge side of the bridge.

Robinson fell from a boat dock on May 16 while fishing with friends on Neville Island.

A graduate of Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill, he graduated from Mercyhurst University in Erie this year, where he played baseball, according to the Mercyhurst website.
