Police: Man cut on neck during East Liberty robbery

A man was cut on his neck during a robbery in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood early Monday, according to Pittsburgh police.

Police responded to the robbery in the 500 block of North Highland Avenue around 5:50 a.m.

A man told officers he had been assaulted and robbed by an unknown man.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to police.

No description of the assailant was available. Police were investigating.
