A car crashed into a telephone pole in East Deer on Wednesday afternoon, bringing down wires, an Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said.

The crash occurred just before 1:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Baileys Run Road. The location is by the entrance to southbound Route 28. The road was blocked off from Freeport Road to the entrance of the highway.
