The National Weather Service has canceled a flash flood warning issued Thursday evening for central Allegheny County.

The warning, which included Pittsburgh, Crafton, Dormont, McKees Rocks, Millvale, Etna, Bellevue, West View and Glenshaw, was canceled at about 6:45 p.m.

Meteorologist Michael Brown said areas of Glenshaw and Ross Township saw 2 inches of rain in just an hour, but the ground was able to absorb if following a recent stretch of dry weather.
