• Laurelville Christian Retreat Center, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township, will host a lunch fundraiser about Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater at noon Nov. 1 in the center small dining hall. Amy Humbert, Fallingwater’s school program and outreach manager, will be the speaker. Cost: $15 paid in advance. CDC guidelines will be observed. Ticket deadline: noon Oct. 28. • St. Florian Church, 4263 Route 981, Mt. Pleasant Township, is accepting orders for 14-inch nut, apricot, poppy seed and prune rolls. Cost: $12. • The Westmoreland Historical Society Historic House Tour will be conducted virtually at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 5 on Zoom.us. Guests will learn about the history of the county, stories of original owners, and how the style and architecture of a house provides clues to its history. Cost: $50, which includes a $25 gift card from Rizzo’s Malabar Inn. A special Elizabeth Hanna ticket may be purchased for $100 and includes the gift card and $20 of basket raffle tickets. Raffle tickets: $5 purchased separately. Proceeds benefit the society’s history preservation and education projects. Meeting
