Brackenridge couple without insurance lose home, pets to fire

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal has ruled as accidental a fire that destroyed a Brackenridge home on Stieren Avenue at Hathaway Street on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, caused by a propane grill on the back porch. Heat from the fire melted siding on a neighboring home. No one was hurt, but several pets died.
