Monroeville District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst handled these cases March 29, 2021. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

All charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Stephen Linn, 61, of Monroeville on two counts each of aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals, neglect of vet care to animals, neglect of water and sustenance to animals; and a charge of neglecting to provide shelter and protection to animals. Charges were filed Oct. 14.

• Hillary Siel, 27, of Clairton on two counts each of neglect of water and sustenance to animals, aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals, neglect of vet care to animals; and a charge of neglecting to provide shelter and protection to animals. Charges were filed Oct. 14.

• Keith Linn, 61, of Clairton on two counts each of aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals, neglect of vet care to animals, neglect of water and sustenance to animals; and a charge of neglecting to provide shelter and protection to animals. Charges were filed Oct. 14.

Waived for court

• Melinda Gerken, 33, of Pitcairn on a DUI charge. The charge was filed bu Pitcairn police on July 1.
