Dia is a celebration of children, families and reading that emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Join us 10:30 a.m. at Simmons Park for stories, songs and a craft celebrating children and reading. For ages 3-6 with a caregiver.

This program will meet in-person and will have very limited registration. Masks will be required and all social distancing guidelines will be followed.

School Days

Did you ever wonder what it was like to go to school back in the early 1900s? Come find out at the Schoolhouse Arts & History Center! Class will take place in one of the old school classrooms and participants will get a real feel for what it was like to go to school back in the old days. For grades K-4.

This program will meet in-person at noon May 1 and will have very limited registration. Masks will be required and all social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Storytime in the park

Join us for stories, songs, flannel board games and more in this early literacy class, which will be live and in person at Simmons Park, weather permitting. For all ages. No registration is necessary.

Bring a blanket to sit on during storytime, and a drink in case you decide to stay and play.
