A man was in stable condition after being shot multiple times Sunday night in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny neighborhood, police said.

Pittsburgh police responded to the 400 block of Cedar Avenue around 8:25 p.m. and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman Maurice Matthews. Officers applied tourniquets to the man until EMS arrived.
