All three school districts in the South Hills monthly footprint have uncontested races for school board.

There are four candidates on the ballot for Baldwin-Whitehall School Director and four open seats. Incumbents Karen Brown and Amanda Priano should retain their seats and be joined by newcomers Karen Brown and Greg Zeman.

In Brentwood Borough School District, four candidates, all incumbents, are seeking four, four-year terms — Kristie Kraeuter, Brian Rea, Gary Topolosky and Donna Werner.

David Tinker, also an incumbent, is the only candidate on the ballot running for the school board’s two-year term.

In West Jefferson Hills School District, the school board race has four candidates running for four open seats: incumbents Kimberly S. Finnerty, Kristin Shoemaker and Christopher Zacur, as well as newcomer Anthony Andreas Rash.

There are uncontested municipal races in the South Hills as well.

In Baldwin Borough, Mayor David Depretis is running unopposed for reelection.

The Baldwin Township commissioners race is uncontested, with two open seats and Eileen Frisoli and Robert Downey Jr. running for reelection.
