It hasn’t quite reached outbreak status, but the number of players added to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ reserve/covid list continues to increase daily.

Running back Anthony McFarland and defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs were the latest to join the list Thursday, the team announced.

They join linebackers Devin Bush and Marcus Allen, nose tackle Montravius Adams and right tackle Zach Banner as players who have tested positive recently. All but Adams have tested positive in the past two days.

McFarland has been active or on injured reserve for all but two games this year and wasn’t contributing in the running game. Buggs has sat out the past three games with an injury.

Adams was placed on the list a week ago and could be activated before the Steelers play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
