One person died and another was taken to the hospital with injuries after a crash in Baldwin on Sunday morning, officials confirmed.

First responders were called to the 700 block of Becks Run Road shortly after 10 a.m. for reports of a two-vehicle crash, an Allegheny 911 shift supervisor said.

No information was available about the condition of the person taken to the hospital.

Authorities said the Allegheny County Medical Examiner was dispatched to the scene around noon.

Authorities have not released the identity of the person who died.

Witnesses told Tribune-Review news partners WPXI-TV that they saw a man lying on the ground after he was ejected from a white Lexus. The Lexus reportedly crashed into a parked car at a body shop.

According to Baldwin police, the road was closed between Wagner to East Carson street for nearly four hours while authorities investigated the fatal crash.
