The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for parts of Washington and Fayette counties until 9 a.m. Friday morning.
The advisory applies to all of Washington County and the western part of Fayette County.

Foggy conditions may also hit parts of Allegheny, Westmoreland and Butler counties.
Under the fog advisory, those on the road should drive slowly and use their headlights while expecting hazardous conditions, according to the National Weather Service.
