Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a Duquesne man who allegedly shot and robbed a woman early Wednesday morning.

At around 12:30 a.m., police say Glenn Smith shot the woman and stole her gun and money, according to a news release.

The woman, who police found in a car at the 100 block of North Third Street, was taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police issued a warrant for Smith’s arrest Wednesday evening.

Smith, 36, faces charges for aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, robbery, theft, carrying a gun without a license and counts of persons not to possess firearms.

Police say anyone who knows of Smith’s whereabouts should call 911. He is known to frequent the McKeesport area.
