A man who had been stabbed walked into the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire’s Station 17 in Homewood with a stab wound on Thursday morning, police said.

Police said the man told them that another person stabbed him while they were sitting in a van in Homewood.

Pittsburgh Public Safety Spokeswoman Cara Cruz said the person suspected of stabbing the man dropped off the man at the Hamilton Avenue firehouse around 5:30 a.m. Medics then took him to the hospital.

Police said they were investigating.
