Pittsburgh Police SWAT officers entered a Hill District residence Sunday night after they said a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, officers arrived at the scene after dispatchers received a call at about 6:30 p.m. Officers say the robbery victim told them that a man pointed a long rifle at him while he was delivering pizza.

SWAT officers went to the 2100 block of Bedford Avenue after the victim reported seeing the suspect run into a house in that area.

Authorities say police, joined by a K-9 officer, searched the residence and found a rifle but did not find a male suspect they believed was barricaded inside.
