Firefighters battled a blaze early Monday in Plum.

Two firefighters and one other person were injured as the result of a fire that broke out early Monday morning in Plum.

The firefighters were outside the home when the rear of the dwelling partially collapsed, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reports. Unity Fire Chief PJ Mudar told the station the two were checked at the scene in the 3200 block of Universal Road and suffered only minor injuries.

All of the home’s occupants have been accounted for, according to the station’s report.

The fire was reported shortly after 2:45 a.m. and emergency crews remained at the scene at 5:30 a.m.

What looked to be the front entrance to the house was the only thing still standing by mid-morning.

A fire marshal will investigate the blaze, WPXI reported.
