We wanted to catch up with a few artists before the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s 64th annual Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival wraps up this weekend.
Two vendors, Aimee Manion and Baba Berthe, were happy to talk with us on video about their crafts, their businesses, and what they love about the Pittsburgh festival.
Berthe, owner of the Maryland-based Muso Masiri, brings his West African-inspired jewelry to the festival. His tent displays large brightly colored bracelets, necklaces, medallions and chest pieces.
Manion, of Aimee Manion Art, has been with the festival since 2008 when she was awarded the Emerging Artist scholarship. She describes herself as an intuitive painter, who works by processing the world around her.
