Tapas Talks, a speaker series in Sewickley that highlights outstanding talent and achievements of individuals in the area, continues to give to the community.
The Speakers’ series mission is to inform, inspire, connect and give back to the Sewickley community. This year’s donation has been made to the Union Aid Society. Since 1898, the Union Aid Society’s mission is to be a safety-net for the municipalities of the Quaker Valley School District. Keeping with their motto, “neighbors helping neighbors,” the organization relies on generous support from the communities they serve in order to make housing, personal support and financial assistance available.
The third and final event for the subscribers of the 2023 series is sold out and will be Keith Recker, editor in chief of TABLE Magazine. His program is entitled Color of Work: The roots of chromatic persuasion in branding and packaging. Members enjoy tapas while socializing with friends, neighbors, colleagues and new acquaintances before each lecture. The conversation continues afterwards with dessert, coffee and tea.
Information about the 2024 series will be release in the fall.
