A Pittsburgh man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Pittsburgh’s Spring Garden neighborhood in December.

Trey Williams, 26, of Pittsburgh, is facing charges of criminal homicide, recklessly endangering another person and carrying a firearm without a license, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 25.

Steven Bundridge, 36, was shot and killed Dec. 6 in Pittsburgh’s Spring Garden neighborhood.

Police said Bundridge had orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot that had led to a January 2022 killing of Ashley Roberts, 34, in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood.

Alec Stefanovits, 27, was charged with one count of homicide in connection with the murder. Witnesses later told police Bundridge had hired Stefanovits to kill Roberts.
