Traffic shifts, lane restrictions start Monday on the Veterans Bridge ramps

Traffic shifts and lane narrowing take place on the Veterans Bridge ramps in Pittsburgh starting on Monday. The work will take place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 15

These are the affected ramps:

• Southbound Route 28 ramp to the Veterans Bridge (southbound I-579).

• Veterans Bridge (northbound I-579) ramp to northbound Route 28.

Crews from Mekis Construction will perform the work.
