The streets of Harrison City will be lined with floats Friday for Penn-Trafford’s Homecoming parade and football game.

The parade kicks off at Penn Township Municipal Park at 6 p.m. The procession will feature the high school marching band, cologuard, cheerleaders and floats designed by several of the school’s clubs to fit this year’s theme: cartoons.

The parade will last about 15 minutes, said superintendent Matthew Harris. It will end at Warrior Stadium, where Penn-Trafford’s football team will face off against Hempfield at 7:30 p.m.

“Even if you’re not coming to the football game afterwards, please come out and watch the parade,” Harris said.

The Homecoming king and queen will be announced prior to the start of the game. The Homecoming court includes:

Michael DiNapoli, Ella Dindak, Waylon Fetty, Sophia Green, Ava Hershberger, Savannah Koscho, Madison Kral, Braedy Mastine, Carmen Metcalfe, DeLaney Miklos, Keith Otto and Nick Turowski.
