The Plum School District is investigating a recent incident in which a bullet was found on one of its school buses.

The district said it’s working closely with law enforcement agencies to gather information. It said there was no immediate threat to any students or staff members.

In a letter to families dated Friday, district officials said the bullet was found at the end of the school day. It didn’t offer any other details, such as what school bus the bullet was found in.

The district encourages parents, staff, and students to remain vigilant and quickly report any suspicious activity or concerns to the school administration or local authorities.

Concerns can be reported via the Safe2Say Something website. The school district encourages families to use this resource if anyone has any information about this incident.

Plum police spokesman Joseph Little said he had no comment Saturday morning.
