East Hills shooting victim in critical condition

Pittsburgh police detectives are investigating the shooting of a man Saturday morning in the city’s East Hills neighborhood.

The incident reportedly happened in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive just after 11 a.m., according to a Pittsburgh Public Safety release.

City detectives already working in the area found the man minutes later. He has been shot in the chest. They tended to him until medics could take him to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

His name was not released.

A gun was recovered at the scene and a woman was questioned at police headquarters.
