Goaltender Joel Blomqvist made 29 saves on 30 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 2-1 road win against the Providence Bruins at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I. on Saturday.

The result improved Blomqvist’s record to 5-2-1 while forwards Justin Addamo and Alex Nylander each scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (8-5-2).

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the rival Hershey Bears on Wednesday, 7 p.m.
