Man in critical condition after being shot multiple times in Penn Hills

A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times late Thursday in Penn Hills.

Allegheny County Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Funston Avenue around 11:45 p.m. At the scene, police said they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in critical condition as of 3:30 a.m.

The county police Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
