Holiday lighting winners announced in Bethel Park

During Bethel Park Council’s Jan. 8 meeting, Mayor Jack Allen announced the winners of the municipality’s Holiday Lighting Contest.

“This recognition herein given to your home signifies that your holiday decorations were judged to be the best your ward,” he said, reading from a proclamation. “Bethel Park appreciates your efforts to enhance the community’s image at this time of year, so congratulations and best wishes for a bright 2024.”

Winners are:

• Ward 1 — Charles and Lynn Voelker, Stoltz Road

• Ward 2 — Joseph and Shirley Regrut, Great Dane Drive; April and Justin Winterhalter, Boxer Drive

• Ward 3 — Ryan and Jillian Grant, Turngate Drive

• Ward 4 — Patrick McGee, Broughton Road

• Ward 5 — William and Luann Hain, Valley Drive

• Ward 6 — Michael and Debra Fate, Scenic View Drive

• Ward 7 — David and Catherine Motor, Marbury Road

• Ward 8 — Thomas and Jodie Burke, Lindermer Avenue

• Ward 9 — Michael and Jennifer Rupinsky, Slatewood Court

Honorable mentions are Wayne and Leslie Grant, Parkridge Drive; Walter and Tracy Kasievich, Appel Road; Stephen and Pamela Hart, Comanche Road; Roger and Mary Beth Zelt, Iroquois Road; Shawn and Emilia Omara, Carlton Road; and residents of Turngate Drive and Abbeyville Road.
