Missing Homewood woman found safe

A woman missing from her Homewood neighborhood has been safely located, Pittsburgh police said.

Special Victims Unit detectives were searching for Michelle Walker, 53.

She was last seen walking from her home in the Homewood neighborhood toward Brushton Avenue at about 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept 13, 2024.

Police posted to social media at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday to say Walker is safe.
