Letter to the editor: Election confusion

I am fascinated by the variety of letters to the editor about the upcoming election and the predictions. We are being encouraged to vote, by radio, TV, mail and the skewed ads on the internet. The VA is wanting vets to work as volunteers for the election. The questions are, will “we the people” go out and vote, and second, will all legitimate votes be counted.
The confusion I have over the election appears to be an epidemic among my fellow voters. The intentional incomplete misinformation promoted by mainstream media and outside influences is working. Prejudicing the public and voters is successful. Party politics is more important than doing what is needed for we the people.
Remember, we have one chance to change things — on Nov. 5, between the hours the polls open and the time they close. After that, we the people are old news and forgotten and unneeded.
We have a top-shelf big-spending Democrat (progressive) running for president against a lesser big-spending Republican. The key question is, will the republic cease to exist under the rule of progressives in the next 10 years or go out of existence in 15 years under a Republican?
Without the spark of liberty and freedom, there is no future. Progressives would like to extinguish liberty and freedom. The progressives are disguised isms and ists.
Both are experienced candidates; judge them on what they have done or could have done and did not. Not their election rhetoric.
