Remembrance planned for NK officer Brian Shaw
A service in memory of fallen New Kensington police Officer Brian Shaw will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the memorial to him outside of New Kensington City Hall on 11th Street.
Sunday is the seventh anniversary of his death in the line of duty. The public is welcome.
DL Students to present ‘Rebel Without A Cause’
The drama department of Deer Lakes School District will present “Rebel Without A Cause” at 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday in the high school auditorium in West Deer.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
St. Joseph HS to celebrate 110th anniversary
A Mass of Thanksgiving for 110 years of Catholic education and the rededication of the St. Joseph statue will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Walter Dlubak Athletic Center at St. Joseph High School, 800 Montana Ave., Harrison.
