Two people were killed in a Washington County crash Sunday.

The Washington County coroner identified the driver as Brittany Therese Crile, 36, of Waynesburg, TribLive news partner WTAE reported. She was driving the car and was ejected from the vehicle.

Also killed was Joseph Crile, 46, of Marianna. According to WTAE, he was found in an empty house near the crash scene Sunday afternoon.

First responders were called to a site along Clarsksville Road in West Bethlehem Township just before 9:30 a.m. after someone saw a vehicle over an embankment, officials said. It was unclear whether the one-vehicle crash occurred Sunday morning or Saturday night.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

Additional details were not immediately available.
