The Pittsburgh Pirates announced their 2025 promotional schedule and home game times Wednesday afternoon.
The New York Yankees will be the Pirates’ first opponent at PNC Park, with the two clubs set for a 4:12 p.m. first pitch April 4, 2025, which will be the Pirates’ home opener.
That marks the first time in franchise history the Pirates will host the Yankees for their home opener.
Yinzerpalooza weekend returns to PNC Park, to be celebrated July 18-20 when the Chicago White Sox visit.
The Pirates are also set to host eight light-up nights, featuring fireworks and drone shows:
• Friday, April 18 vs. the Cleveland Guardians
• Friday, May 23 vs. the Milwaukee Brewers
• Friday, June 20 vs. the Texas Rangers
• Friday, June 27 vs. the New York Mets (Drone Show)
• Friday, July 18 vs. the Chicago White Sox
• Saturday, July 26 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks (Drone Show)
• Friday, Aug. 22 vs. the Colorado Rockies
• Friday, Sept. 19 vs. the Athletics
Sugardale Dollar Dogs will be available for $1 on select Thursdays, and Sundays will serve as Family Fun Days.
