A Minnesota man wanted by federal law enforcement officials was apprehended in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood Wednesday, according to the U.S. Marshals.

Theodore Jaymes was charged with second degree attempted murder in connection to a shooting on a light rail train in St. Paul, Minn. A woman on that train was shot multiple times in the leg, U.S. Marshals said.

Marshals in the Western District of Pennsylvania discovered that James was staying in East Liberty and located him in the 5400 block of Baywood Street on Wednesday.

He was apprehended Wednesday without incident, according to a press release.

U.S. Marshal Stephen Eberle said several local agencies assisted the marshals’ Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force including Allegheny County Police Department, the Allegheny County Sheriff, the Pennsylvania Attorney General, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
