Rachel Fairbanks, the most decorated setter in Pitt volleyball history and a two-time, first-team All-American, has signed a professional contract with the Atlanta franchise in League One Volleyball. She joins former Pitt teammate Valeria Vazquez Gomez, who previously agreed to a deal with the Omaha Supernovas of the Pro Volleyball Federation.

Fairbanks, who helped lead Pitt to four Final Fours and three ACC championships, is only the second Pitt player in program history to earn ACC Setter of the Year honors, which she did in 2023. She averaged a career-best 10.67 assists per set this season, fourth in program history in the 25-point scoring era, while helping Pitt to a team 0.332 hitting percentage, the best in the nation.

Her 1,067 assists total this season is the sixth most in the 25-point scoring era.
