Church News

• Greensburg Church of the Brethren hosts a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. Dinner is included. Participants must be accompanied by a family member or caregiver. Donations will be accepted. Details: 724-834-2130 or gbgcob.org.

Fundraisers

• Salem Lutheran Church, Delmont, will host a community family dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at the church, 301 E. Pittsburgh St. Menu: spaghetti, tossed salad and bread. Bring a dessert to share. There will be crafts, games, a DJ and dancing until 10 p.m. Donations will be accepted to benefit Hope for Ghana for a fresh water well. • Jeannette American Legion Auxiliary is accepting entries for its annual chili cook-off set for 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at the post, 109 S. Fifth St. Entry fee: $5. Awards will be given out at 4 p.m. Registration: text or leave a message at 412-452-7215.

• Two comedy dinner nights to benefit Westmoreland County Parks, Trails and Concert Series will be at 6 p.m. March 7 and 8 at The Venue at Live Casino at Westmoreland Mall in Hempfield. There will be food, a basket auction, cash bar and 50-50. Cost: $40. Must be 21. Advance tickets required, no tickets will be sold at the door. Cash or check accepted. • Jeannette Knights of Columbus hosts bingo at 7 p.m. Fridays in Mersinger Hall at Ascension Church, 615 Division St., Jeannette. Doors open at 6 p.m. and early birds begin at 6:30 p.m. Players younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Smoke-free venue. Food will be available, and there will be a 50-50 and instant bingo. Health

• Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6 p.m. Wednesdays at Union Presbyterian Church, 656 Route 380, Washington Township.

Meeting

• South Hills Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. There will be a 50-50 raffle and prizes for children. The program will be about the 1933 gold confiscation. Public welcome. Membership applications are being accepted. Details: 724-984-6611.

Senior Citizen News

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have Valentine bingo at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 11. A workshop to make a Valentine box craft will be at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 12. Norwin Public Library will present a murder mystery play at noon Feb. 13 in the gym. Registration for events and lunch required at least one day in advance. Donations are accepted for all activities. • A Seniors for Safe Driving class will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 8 at Circleville Church of North Huntingdon, 11600 Parkway Drive. The class is PennDOT approved and for drivers who are at least 55 years old. Safe drivers can receive a 5 percent discount on auto insurance for three years. Cost: $17.
