A man was shot Monday afternoon in the abdomen in Pittsburgh’s Brookline neighborhood.

Pittsburgh police found the victim, an adult who authorities did not name, suffering from gunshot wounds in the 800 block of Brookline Boulevard about 5 p.m.

The man had been shot twice near Brookline Boulevard at Flatbush Avenue, police said.

Two juvenile suspects were seen running up Flatbush Avenue after the shooting, according to police.

A vehicle near 802 Bean, a coffee shop, appeared to have bullet damage.

Police briefly detoured traffic on Brookline Boulevard between Flatbush and Stebbins avenues. Officers pulled down the crime scene tape about 5:50 p.m.

Detectives are investigating.
