Woman stabbed in Pittsburgh’s Hill District after domestic dispute

Pittsburgh police responded to a stabbing at 5:30 a.m. Sunday in Pittsburgh’s Hill District.

In the 2800 block of Centre Avenue, the City of Pittsburgh said, an adult female was found with a stab wound to her upper back/neck area. She was transported in critical condition to an area hospital by Pittsburgh EMS.

An adult female was detained at the scene and taken to police headquarters for questioning.

Police said a verbal altercation from a “domestic dispute” took place before the stabbing.
