Penguins’ preseason schedule announced

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced their upcoming preseason schedule on Tuesday.

As usual, it involves pairs of games against their typical preseason foes, the Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets and Detroit Red Wings. The slate opens with a road contest against the Montreal Canadiens.

Sept. 22 – at Montreal Canadiens, 7 p.m.

Sept. 24 – at Columbus Blue Jackets, 7 p.m.

Sept. 26 – vs. Detroit Red Wings, 7 p.m.

Sept. 27 – vs. Columbus Blue Jackets, 7 p.m.

Sept. 29 – at Detroit Red Wings, 7 p.m.

Oct. 1 – at Buffalo Sabres, 7 p.m.

Oct. 3 – vs. Buffalo Sabres, 7 p.m.

The regular season schedule for the entire NHL is expected to be released in July.
