Our democracy depends on respecting the rule of law — and that includes obeying court orders. The president does not have the power to ignore judicial rulings, especially when it comes to deploying the National Guard to American cities.

Judges are not political obstacles; they are constitutional safeguards. When a president defies the courts, it’s not just an overreach — it’s an assault on the very system that keeps our nation free. The separation of powers is what prevents tyranny, and once that line is crossed, it’s hard to return.

Pennsylvania’s senators and all members of Congress must speak clearly: No president is above the law. The courts’ authority must be respected, and the military must never be used in defiance of judicial restraint.

Our Constitution is stronger than any one person — but only if we, the people, insist that it remains so.
